This recording was taken during the meke performance at the July-August Chief handover ceremony as part of the 20 minute routine that the tribe put on for the small crowd.

I apologise in advance for the wind interference in the live meke recordings. The microphone wasn’t in a good position, and as a result, picked up a bit of wind noise. Other than that, the quality is not too bad.

This was also part of meke practice for the tribe in preparation for our performance at Doug’s wedding on Vorovoro the next day. Not quite a full choir of singers, but the 3 or 4 Fijians who were there did a brilliant job anyway.
